Joey de Leon, a famous comedian in the Philippines, stirred online buzz after his reaction to a reporter's question made headlines.

Earlier, Joey, alongside Tito and Vic Sotto, held an official press conference after they won the trademark case over 'Eat Bulaga.'

During the press conference, PEP.ph reported that a reporter asked the trio if its possible there would be two 'Eat Bulagas' on air.

According to Joey, "Mga tao na hahatol niyan." He then added, "Well, itutuloy sa mga legal. Pero nakikita mo naman reaksiyon ng karaniwang tao."

At one point, Joey even added, "Pakapalan na lang."

Previously, it was reported by GMA Network that the IPO granted TVJ the petition and canceled TAPE's 'Eat Bulaga' trademark.

Following their press conference after their win, the E.A.T. hosts sang the iconic theme song of eat Bulaga on their show, as reported by Philstar.

Joey de Leon is an iconic actor, comedian, and television host in the Philippines. He is a member of the comedy trio Tito, Vic and Joey and has made several comedy movies and TV shows. Joey is also best known for being a pioneer host of the longest-running noontime show in the country, “Eat Bulaga.” It premiered on July 30, 1979.

As previously reported by KAMI, Joey shared a new cryptic post on social media. On his Instagram page, Joey shared a photo of him with “Ellen of Hollywood.” Ellen is a character made using artificial intelligence who reminds the contestants of E.A.T.’s “Gimme 5: Laro ng Mga Henyo” about each round’s mechanics.

Meanwhile, Joey De Leon took to Instagram and shared a short clip about respect. This came after the Intellectual Property Office canceled the "Eat Bulaga" trademark of Tape, Inc. In the clip, Joey said that he does not expect respect from res-fake. Many netizens gave TVJ their support and congratulated them on their win.
