Cristy Fermin has reacted to the controversial statement of Noli de Castro regarding the recently-concluded wedding of Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza.

Previously, Noli drew flak on social media after his "kayo naman habang kinakasal, kawawa naman ang binagyo" comment went viral online.

In Cristy Ferminute, the veteran columnist, reminded Noli that Arjo and Maine's preparations have been going on for a year.

"Alam niyo po, napakatagal na panahon na po, kabayan, na inihahanda nina Congressman Arjo Atayde at Maine Mendoza itong kasal nila sa Baguio. Matagal na panahon na po ito. Sa pag-iipon pa lang po ng principal sponsors, ang tagal na pong preparasyon niyan. Pero hindi po sila ang may hawak ng kalamidad sa mundo, hindi po nila alam na makakasabay pala ng kanilang pagpapakasal itong si Bagyong Egay. Anong kinalaman ni Arjo at ni Maine sa bagyo na talagang nanalanta sa Norte? Ano naman kinalaman nila dun?" she asked.

Halfway through her discussion with Romel Chika, Cristy told Noli to choose his words wisely.

"Dapat kasi lumalagay si kabayan, sa dapat niyang kalagyan, sa edad niya? Diyan na siya tinubuan ng puting buhok, sa pagiging komentarista. Kung bakit ba sa bandang dulo eh nagpapapansin pa siya," she remarked. "Nako, kabayan, lumagay lagay kayo sa ayos."
