Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon’s ‘Eat Bulaga’ comeback will air on TV5 this July 1, Saturday. The ’Legit Dabarkads’ moved to TV5 and left GMA due to their dispute with TAPE Inc.
On Instagram, Sharon Cuneta revealed that she will be a special guest on the first ‘Eat Bulaga’ episode on TV5.

The Megastar also posted how she owes her showbiz career to the hosts of Eat Bulaga, especially Tito Sotto who discovered her.
According to Sharon, she has a special 44-year history with Eat Bulaga since she used to regularly appear on the show during the start of her career.

For these reasons, Sharon said that she will always be there for Eat Bulaga whenever the show needs her.
“See you on July 1!!! Without my Daddy Tito Sotto who discovered me,I never would have become a singer or (more importantly) have had a second father; without Tito Vic Sotto I never would have had my first memorable hits after Mr. D.J.;without Tito Joey De Leon I never would have had memorable hits after Mr. D.J. as well, or a first co-host on my own The Sharon Cuneta Show from 1986 on IBC 13 until around 1988 on ABS-CBN.
”I have a 44-year history with eat-bulaga -- I used to appear there regularly starting in their first home, RPN 9,in my St. Paul uniform without makeup!As much as I love my ABS-CBN Kapamilya,I could NEVER NOT give importance to my eat-bulaga family.
”My home station ABS-CBN has known and respected this since I joined it in 1988.Wala pang legit dabarkads o si @iceseguerra sa Little Miss Philippines sa eat-bulaga noon,ako na ang baby nila! And I will be there for them whenever they call me.It’s PAYBACK TIME, which is how it forever will be for me towards eat-bulaga!No one can ever put a beloved institution down,” Sharon said.
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

In other news, Maine Mendoza also took to social media and shared a heartfelt post about “Eat Bulaga.” On her online page, Maine uploaded some photos taken at the show’s studio. Along with the photos, the TV host penned a message to Dabarkads and to the noontime program.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards shared a stirring photo of himself at the noontime program's studio. Ryan Agoncillo, one of the show's hosts, took the said photo of Alden. Along with the pic, Alden wrote a short but heartfelt caption.
