Paolo Contis sent a message to people who are bashing the staff and crew of “Eat Bulaga” who remained with TAPE Inc. and did not leave with Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon. He gave the message during a recent episode of “Eat Bulaga” on GMA.

According to Paolo, people should refrain from bashing those staff and crew because they are just doing what they need to do to feed their families.
Furthermore, Paolo urged those people to just bash him and the celebrity hosts instead of picking on the staff and crew. Paolo explained that as celebrities, they are already used to getting bashed by netizens.
Lastly, he said that the people behind the camera are the real “Eat Bulaga.”

“Ngayon, gaya po ng programang Eat Bulaga!, itong mga staff and crew po namin, pinili po nila na hindi rin mang-iwan dahil may mga pamilya sila na nangangailangan. Sila po ang nagpapakain sa mga pamilya nila.
"Iyan po ang dahilan, isa sa mga dahilan, kung bakit hindi nila tayo iniwan.
“Masakit sa akin kapag bina-bash niyo sila! Ako, sanay ako diyan—breakfast, lunch, dinner. Ako ang i-bash niyo, okay lang sa akin.
"Kasi po, we will do our best para maging masaya po kayo, pero sana lang po, huwag niyo na pong idamay yung staff at yung crew. They don’t deserve it. Maybe I do, maybe I do, but they don’t!
"So kami na lang, sanay na kami diyan. Sila po, ang staff, ang crew, sila po ang tunay na Eat Bulaga,” Paolo said.
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.
In other news, Maine Mendoza also took to social media and shared a heartfelt post about “Eat Bulaga.” On her online page, Maine uploaded some photos taken at the show’s studio. Along with the photos, the TV host penned a message to Dabarkads and to the noontime program.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards shared a stirring photo of himself at the noontime program's studio. Ryan Agoncillo, one of the show's hosts, took the said photo of Alden. Along with the pic, Alden wrote a short but heartfelt caption.
