Alden Richards declares loyalty to Tito, Vic and Joey, original Eat Bulaga

Alden Richards has declared his loyalty to the original Eat Bulaga team of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon.

This is after the trio and their co-hosts resigned from TAPE Inc., which produced Eat Bulaga for GMA. TAPE Inc. reacted to the resignation by hiring new hosts and crew members for the show, which aired its first episode yesterday.

Alden told Cristy Fermin on her Cristy Ferminute show that loyalty and gratitude are important to him.

“Nagulat po ako 'nay. Hindi ko po ine-expect yung mga pangyayari kahapon. Pero kahit ano pong mangyari, ang suporta ko po ay nasa Tito, Vic at Joey at Eat Bulaga.' Ayan, at ito pa, 'Maraming salamat po 'nay, kagaya niyo po, mahalaga po sa akin ang loyalty at utang na loob. Hindi po magbabago yun,” Alden told Cristy.

In a separate interview with News5, Alden also pledged his loyalty to Tito, Vic, and Joey.

”Eat Bulaga” is the longest-running noontime program in the world. Its hosts, including Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, Joey De Leon, Maine Mendoza, and others announced last May 31 that they are separating from TAPE Inc., the company that produces the show. It is not yet clear as of this writing if the hosts will take the Eat Bulaga title with them to another network or if TAPE Inc. will keep the iconic name.

In other news, Maine Mendoza also took to social media and shared a heartfelt post about “Eat Bulaga.” On her online page, Maine uploaded some photos taken at the show’s studio. Along with the photos, the TV host penned a message to Dabarkads and to the noontime program.

Meanwhile, Alden Richards shared a stirring photo of himself at the noontime program's studio. Ryan Agoncillo, one of the show's hosts, took the said photo of Alden. Along with the pic, Alden wrote a short but heartfelt caption.
