Ogie Diaz recently claimed that it is already confirmed that “Tropang LOL” will go off the air.
The talent manager, along with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs, talked about the said matter in the latest “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” vlog.
“Ayun na nga, kasi nga confirmed na nga na magpapaalam na sa ere. Kasi nga nu'ng March 23, bago magsimula 'yung taping ng kanilang cycle ng 'LOL' ay 'yun nga, pinulong ng representative nung producer 'yung buong cast ng 'LOL'.”
“Inihayag na sila ay mag-e-end na, ang last airing nila ay April 29 at sila nga ay papalitan na ng 'Face to Face' ni Karla Estrada,” Ogie said.

During the discussion, Ogie also aired his thoughts on the purported confirmed claims about the noontime show.
Ogie said he was saddened that its production staff has to look for another job.
“Sa totoo lang, nakakalungkot kasi nga, sabi ko nga, 'yung mga ABS-CBN production staff na karamihan ay nagtatrabaho doon sa LOL ay siyempre maghahanap na naman ng trabaho.”

Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz has defended his former talent Liza Soberano from her bashers online. Previously, Liza was criticized after she revealed that "Hello, Love, Goodbye" was first offered to LizQuen. This prompted Ogie to defend Liza's statements about love teams in the Philippines.
