Ogie Diaz, in his latest “Showbiz Update” video, tackled two Kapuso primetime series, namely, “Start-Up PH” and “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”
During the discussion, Ate Mrena first brought up the hearsay that Start-Up PH would have its finale near soon.

This prompted Ogie to react, “Alam niyo, 'yung 'Start-Up PH' sa totoo lang hindi naman ako nakapanood ni isang episode niyan. Kasi sa GMA show, ang pinapanood ko talaga 'yung 'Maria Clara at Ibarra.'”
The talent manager then went on to praise the historical portal fantasy series starring Barbie Forteza, Dennis Trillo and Julie Anne San Jose.
“Napakaganda ng production design, ng kwento, tapos napapabalik-tanaw tayo sa ating pinag-aralan nu'ng 3rd year high school, 'yung 'Noli Me Tangere.' Yun ang pinapanood ko,” Mama Ogs said.
“Yung 'Start-Up PH,' hindi ko siya napanood pero diba 'yung mga gumawa niyan 'yung mga Korean?” he continued.
Ogie also frankly remarked, “Oo nga 'no? Hindi natin masyadong narinig 'yon.”
“Ang nakakaloka nga nito 'no Loi, nandu'n pa naman si Bea. Malalaking artista, Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards,” he added.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and a talent manager who once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.
Ogie recently took to IG Stories and expressed his "slight" disappointment over how a resto's classic chicken is allegedly not the same anymore. He said that he was not used to their classic chicken, which he felt was no longer the same as it used to be.
Earlier, Ogie also penned a post addressed to people criticizing those who are eager to purchase iPhone 14. As per Ogie, there are some who describe individuals lining up for hours to buy Apple’s newest product as “OA”. The talent manager said there is nothing wrong with the hype since buyers are using their own money.
