The actress shared that going to church is a non-negotiable part of her life during an interview with Kylie Verzosa on the Almost Honest podcast. For Gabbi, her commitment to attending Sunday Mass remains firm regardless of how busy her work or social calendar becomes.

"I go to church every Sunday. That's my mantra, kumbaga that's a rule in my life," she said.

Gabbi explained that even if she spends Saturday nights attending parties, events, or other social gatherings, she still makes sure to wake up early enough to attend Mass the following day.

"Na okay, weekend you want to party? You want to go to bars? You want to drink? You want to have fun? Go, go ahead. But you wake up early for Sunday mass," she said.

Her commitment also remains unchanged when she travels outside the Philippines. Rather than allowing her location to interfere with her routine, Gabbi makes an effort to look for a church wherever she goes.

"It's a non-negotiable for me. Even when I am traveling abroad, I look for a church and I go to church. Kahit na nung nag-Paris ako last time, French lahat ng pinuntahan kong misa," she shared.

For Gabbi, attending church goes beyond simply following a weekly religious routine. She considers the time an opportunity to pause from the demands of her career, reflect on her life, and reconnect with her faith.

"Pero like the fact that I'm able to go to church to reflect and to talk to God, that's my way of also grounding myself and having that reality check and having my quiet moment in how I am in this life and how I am doing in this life," she highlighted.

The actress also revealed that Sundays give her a chance to look back on everything that happened during the previous week. She takes time to recognize the things she is thankful for, allowing her to maintain a sense of perspective while working in the entertainment industry.

"Like always 'yan 'pag Sundays like, okay what happened during my week? I'm grateful for this, I'm grateful for that. Parang it keeps me human in this industry," she said.
