Ellen Adarna shared a pointed message about accountability on Instagram as her estranged husband, Derek Ramsay, continues to address questions surrounding his Porsche 918 Spyder.

In her Instagram Story, Ellen raised questions about whether a situation could be blamed on a lack of due diligence or poor discernment. She also questioned the idea of using another excuse to put the blame on someone else.

“Lack of due diligence? Poor discernment? Or just another excuse to blame someone else?” she wrote.

The actress then added that the situation was getting “sooooo soooooo old” before saying, “Maybe accountability would be a refreshing change.”

Ellen did not mention Derek by name. She also did not identify any person, company, or controversy in the post. Because of that, it cannot be confirmed that her message was directed at the actor or his current car issue.

However, the timing of the Story came as Derek released a statement about another concern involving the Porsche 918 Spyder linked to him.

The actor recently denied being a smuggler after the Bureau of Customs began looking into the vehicle’s importation records. He said he purchased the car four years ago from Jhon Lee of JWorks using his own money and was informed at the time that the vehicle was tax-paid. Derek also maintained that he had no role in importing the car into the Philippines.

He further said he had already cooperated with the Land Transportation Office over the earlier plate issue and would also cooperate with Customs. In his statement, Derek said he hoped JWorks would explain the matter and take the necessary steps to resolve it.

The Porsche first came under scrutiny after the LTO found that the plate being used on the vehicle did not match its official plate number. Derek and businessman AJ Violago later appeared before the agency, while the vehicle was voluntarily surrendered for investigation.

The issue later widened after Customs looked into the car’s importation documents. On August 24, the BOC said it was preparing a warrant of seizure as it investigates an alleged misdeclaration involving the vehicle. Authorities said the process would still involve further investigation and due process.
