In a video snippet from The Bare It All podcast hosted by Dani Barretto, guest Marj Ramos-Clemente talked about the overwhelming societal standards modern women face every day—from excelling in their careers to raising children and looking completely unburdened through the entire process as well.

"You have to work like you're not raising children. You have to raise children like you don't work. And on top of all that, you have to look like you don't have work and you don't have children," Marj opened during the episode.

Reflecting on how unrealistic these expectations are, Marj emphasized that true empowerment begins when women give themselves the grace to live life on their own terms.

"If you really think about, that's how much they ask from us women," Marj noted. "So for me, writing your own story means giving yourself that permission to exist outside of those expectations," she added.

The host, Dani Barretto, echoed the sentiment, admitting that listening to the reality of the situation made her feel emotional.

"I think also the pressure that you allow in your life... kasi parang I feel like there are a lot of outside noise and public opinions, unsolicited advice that's gonna to come from people around you," Dani shared.

Max Collins is a well-known actress under GMA Network. She was discovered by a talent scout after accidentally walking into a photo shoot while she was at a mall, and from there, she began her journey in local show business.
