Teaching kids the value of hard work and earning what they want is a proud parenting moment, and Nadine Samonte could not be prouder of her daughter Heather's entrepreneurial spirit.

Taking to her verified Instagram account @nadinesamonte, the actress posted photos of Heather manning a table filled with organized boxes of colorful squishies and sensory toys. In front of the table hung a large handwritten sign that read: "PLS BUY From my store :) Saving For A Pet DUCK!"

In her caption, Nadine shared the sweet story behind her daughter's pop-up garage shop.

"As a mother this is 🥹 so proud of you Heather 🥺 at first nahihiya pa siya magbenta pero she really wants to buy a pet duck and gagawin niya talaga ang lahat para makaipon at mabili niya yung pet duck niya," Nadine wrote.

"She even asked me if she can sell daw squishies, since fav niya yan, madami na siyang ideas to the point she wants to open an online store (soon and pls support her) so of course I will support her all the way," Nadine also revealed.

Nadine shared that a pet duck is the only gift Heather requested for her upcoming 10th birthday this year.

While Heather initially felt nervous about whether anyone would drop by, her determination pushed her to try selling on their street.

"She tried selling yesterday and to the point sabi niya mom what if nobody buys daw? Sabi ko its okay just don't expect but surprisingly dami bumili yesterday pero syempre may natira pa sa tinitinda niya so sabi niya since walang pasok she wants to sell daw again and she even made that sign 😅," Nadine shared.

Overjoyed by the outcome, Nadine expressed her gratitude to everyone who dropped by to support Heather.

"She is so happy and she wants to sell more and make her own online store na talaga. Thank you to all our neighbors na nag-support kay Heather, this means a lot sa kanya 😚 and to Heather, I'm so so proud of you 🥺😍😚," she added.

Nadine ended her post with a hilarious story about her young son, Titus, who decided to add his own complimentary treats for the customers.

"By the way nakakatawa naman si Titus, ginagawa naman niya lahat ng bumibili binibigyan niya ng biscuit at juice haha mga pangbaon nila sa school," Nadine joked.

Nadine Samonte is a Filipina actress and commercial model. She rose to fame as one of the finalists in the first season of StarStruck, GMA Network's talent search competition. After the show, she joined GMA and starred in numerous TV dramas such as Etheria, Bakekang, Super Twins, and Endless Love. On a personal note, Nadine married Richard Chua in 2013.
