Aside from celebrating with his loved ones, the actor-host was also given a birthday moment on “It’s Showtime.” During the noontime program, he was asked about his wish as he entered a new chapter of his life.

Instead of focusing only on himself, Jhong expressed hope that his family, the Madlang People, and everyone else would remain strong despite the challenges that may come.

“Sana maging matatag pa tayo sa lahat ng mga darating na sakuna. Lahat tayo, hindi lang ako, pamilya ko, tayong lahat, ang Madlang People, sana maging matatag tayo sa lahat ng mga hamon sa buhay,” he said.

He continued by comparing difficult moments to rainy days and expressed hope that people would eventually see better days ahead.

“Alam kong marami pang darating at sana magkaroon na.. Kung maulan ngayon, sana magkaroon ng rainbow sa ating buhay. Ang importante 'yung may nilu-look forward tayo na pag-asa,” Jhong added.

Jhong Hilario is a Filipino actor, dancer, and politician who first rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the acclaimed dance group Streetboys. He has since established himself as a versatile television personality, famously known for his long-running hosting stint on It's Showtime and his portrayal of iconic antagonists in various drama series, while concurrently serving the public as a city councilor in Makati.
