Taking to her official Instagram account under the handle @msbarbieimperial, the Kapamilya actress posted a touching video reel documenting her trip back home to Bicol. Instead of throwing a big birthday bash this year, Barbie, alongside her family, close friends, and Richard Gutierrez, organized a outreach program at her alma mater, Maroroy Elementary School.

"This year, I chose to celebrate my birthday at home 🌋 I always find myself going back to where I came from. Iba talaga yung feeling dito sa Bicol. Mayon has a way of making me feel so calm. Every time I come home, ang saya-saya ng puso ko," Barbie opened warmly.

Speaking to the young students assembled at the hall, Barbie shared empowering words of encouragement.
"Gusto ko lang sabihin sa inyo na mag-aral kayo nang mabuti. Malayo ang mararating ninyo kung mag-aaral kayo nang mabuti, maging mabuti tayo parati, at sumunod tayo sa ating mga teachers," Barbie reminded the children.
