Taking to her Instagram account under her handle @laraquigaman, the celebrity mom uploaded a throwback video of an unforgettable past television performance. The shared frames from an episode of the long-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) showed a younger Lara acting out a very emotional scene, looking completely bald for her dramatic character role.
The dramatic visual served as the perfect backdrop for Lara to deliver a lighthearted, clever response to those who have been consistently telling her to dye her graying roots.
🤭... I came across this episode of MMK," Lara shared in her viral post.

The trip down memory lane also brought out a sense of nostalgia for the former beauty queen, who has been living a quieter life away from the local showbiz lights. Looking back at the intense scene, Lara admitted that seeing her old work made her realize how much she genuinely values her background in television drama.
Lara finished her update by comparing her television experiences to real-life struggles, reminding her followers that just like in a classic Pinoy teleserye, truth and authenticity will always come out on top.
Lara beautifully concluded.
