LJ Reyes is embarking on an exciting new chapter as an entrepreneur in the United States.

The North Port Chamber of Commerce recently shared snapshots from a grand opening event on Main Street in North Port Village, New York, welcoming LJ's new business called The Village Cookie.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony turned out to be a joyous afternoon, bringing together local supporters, chamber members, and close loved ones. At the event, a radiant LJ is seen holding massive scissors alongside her husband, Philip Evangelista, as they cut the bright red ribbon under a festive balloon arch.

According to the local business group, the bakery was built on a very simple and heartwarming concept.

"Built on the belief that every village deserves a homemade, heartwarming cookie, The Village Cookie has already become a special addition to our downtown," the chamber shared.

A beautiful portrait in the carousel also captures a close-up of LJ and Philip smiling together directly in front of their new store logo, showcasing a very happy milestone for the couple and their family.

Of course, the launch wouldn't be complete without the full support of her children. In a lovely family group photo, LJ's son, Aki, and daughter, Summer, are seen standing proudly with their parents and family right at the storefront, looking incredibly excited about their new family venture in the city.

The chamber has since extended its warmest wishes to the family as they begin running the shop, which serves fresh cookies and hot cups of coffee to the community.
