Yasmien then recalled a funny incident involving her friend, Dianne, during their first night in Zurich.
According to the actress, her friend ordered food through Uber Eats because they were already tired from traveling and no longer wanted to go out.
The personality said the experience highlighted just how expensive food and daily expenses can be in Switzerland.
Unlike her friend, Yasmien revealed that she prepared for the trip ahead of time. She said she researched the country's cost of living before leaving for Europe.
Alam kong mahal ang cost of living doon, kaya namalengke talaga ako at nagluto," she explained.
Because of this, the actress made sure to book an Airbnb with a fully functional kitchen. This allowed her to prepare meals instead of eating out regularly.
Many netizens could relate to Yasmien's story, especially those who have traveled to countries known for their high living costs. Her post also offered a practical tip for travelers looking to manage their expenses while abroad.
