The mother of late Hashtag member Franco Hernandez shared a heartfelt post on Instagram as she remembered her son on the 103rd month since his passing.

In her emotional message, she revealed that the recent drowning incident involving two students in Aurora during a team-building activity made her think of her son once again. The tragic news brought back painful memories of the loss their family experienced years ago.

"Now, 103rd month! The news lately is highlighted by 2 students who drowned in Aurora during their team-building activity. I can't help but think of you," she wrote.

The grieving mother admitted that the incident left her reflecting on the many questions she had after Franco's death. She said the tragedy made her wonder how the families of the students, especially their mothers, would cope with such a heartbreaking loss.

"So so many flashback memories of your incident. So many how's and why's. Not sure how their families, especially the mom's, would handle this terrible loss and tragic incident," she shared.

She also offered words of comfort to grieving families. Drawing from her own experience, she acknowledged the deep pain that comes with losing a child whose future seemed bright.

"Grieve as you wish, seek comfort from your family, relatives and friends. Losing a son whose future is so bright brings so much pain, I tell you. I've been there and until now I can't still pull the dagger that pierced my heart."

The mother candidly said that the pain has never truly left her. According to her, it is something she continues to carry every day despite the passing of time.

"It will remain here forever. Remembering you today and always, my son. ILYSM," she added.

Franco, a former member of the dance group Hashtags, passed away in 2017 after a drowning incident. Since then, his family has continued to honor his memory through heartfelt tributes shared on special occasions and remembrance dates.
