"Today marks my 20th year in showbiz. Honestly, it still feels unreal. 🥹✨🙏🏼💖," Kim began.

Looking back at where everything started, Kim remembered her childhood in Cebu. She recalled how her mother would take her to church every Sunday, either at the Sto. Niño Church or Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Kim shared the Bisaya words of wisdom her mother would tell her back then: "Istoryaa ang Ginoo, Ingna Siya unsa imong ganahan," Kim quoted her mother in the Instagram post.

Following her mother's advice, the young Kim talked to God and poured her heart out to the Lord.

"So I did," Kim wrote. "I prayed for good grades. I prayed for someone to help send us to school. I prayed for a house we could finally call our own. I prayed that one day we'd never have to keep asking for help. I prayed that I would have enough so I could help my family. Back then, some of those prayers felt impossible. And yet, years later, here I am. Living the life I once prayed so hard for. 💖🥺🙏🏼"

"To my ABS-CBN family, thank you for being my home for the last 20 years. Thank you to all our bosses and everyone behind the scenes for the trust, guidance, and opportunities."

Closing her beautiful letter, Kim offered her highest praises and thanks to the Lord for answering her prayers, guiding her steps, and even closing certain doors to protect her along the way.

Overwhelmed by the love she has received over the last 20 years, she noted that the word "thank you" is barely enough to cover what she feels inside.
