Speaking during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Janice opened up about how she handled the issue after learning about the online exchange that sparked widespread discussion on social media.

According to Janice, her first instinct as a mother was to reach out to Inah directly.

"I cannot not get involved, I'm a mom," said the actress.

Janice then revealed that she wasted no time addressing the matter with her daughter.

"I called her. I immediately told her what was wrong."

After sharing her thoughts, however, she intentionally chose not to prolong the discussion.

"'Tapos, quiet na ako. Basta nasabi ko na, quiet na ako."

The actress explained that she wanted Inah to process the situation on her own.

"Kasi, I have to leave you to think about it."

"I told you what was wrong, ikaw na 'yan."

Janice also disclosed that when she later saw Inah in person, she no longer brought up the controversy.

Instead, she waited until the issue had already settled before giving another reminder.

"When it was over, recently lang, sabi ko sa kanya, 'Since tapos na, pwede ba, please ingat din.'"

She added that her parenting approach has evolved over time.

"Hindi na ko 'yung nagbibigay ng mahabang sermon."

The controversy began during the first week of May when Inah responded to a netizen who mistakenly thought she was Rosmar in a photo with her boyfriend, actor Jake Vargas, during a Flores de Mayo celebration in Bulacan.

After initially saying she did not know Rosmar, Inah later posted,

“Guys, sino ba si Rosmar, hindi ko siya kilala."

She eventually looked up the content creator and wrote,

“Na-research ko na siya plssss don't associate me with her ew."

The comment quickly drew attention online and prompted Rosmar to respond publicly.
