Veteran actor Wendell Ramos opened up about his past experiences with indecent proposals during his guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where he reflected on how fame came with both opportunities and challenges.

During the interview, Wendell candidly admitted that he received multiple indecent proposals when he was younger and at the height of his popularity as one of the industry’s recognized “hunks.” He said these offers were not only frequent but also surprisingly tempting.

“Something na parang puwedeng tamarin ka na, maging reason para tamarin ka na mag-work. I don't know. Tinatanong mo rin ang sarili mo, I'm asking myself, 'Totoo ba 'tong ganito? Pero parang totoo, legit naman sila,” said Wendell.

He further explained that while some may find the attention flattering, it can also become a serious distraction if a person is not grounded.

“Sometimes talagang kakainin ka rin kung medyo mahina-hina 'yung -- hindi ko sinasabing perpekto ako, Tito Boy, pero pwede kang kainin, e. Nu'ng situation, pwedeng maging reason ng downfall mo sa work mo,” he added.

Wendell emphasized that despite the temptations and unusual offers, he chose to stay focused on his career and personal responsibilities. He expressed gratitude for being able to support his family through hard work and perseverance.

“Hindi ako naging perpektong tao, but in a way, so far, alam ko na kung ano man 'yung meron kami at naitaguyod kong pamilya is because of God's grace and hard work,” he said.

Meanwhile, younger actor Bruce Roeland, who was also present during the interview, revealed that he has encountered similar indecent proposals in the industry. However, he said he prefers to handle such situations with direct honesty.

“Tito Boy, I know kasi 'pag may indecent proposal ang isang tao, e. So I'm just upfront with them. I tell them, diretso na, that I'm not interested. Pero if they wanna keep a healthy communication with me, I'm open to that,” Bruce shared.

Despite these challenges, both actors emphasized professionalism, boundaries, and staying grounded in their careers.
