In an interview with Karen Davila, the couple shared why they decided to publicly address the issue despite fears about its effect on their family. Earlier this year, they filed a criminal complaint against the parents of their child’s alleged bully, along with 20 counts of cyberlibel against individuals allegedly harassing them online.

Yasmine admitted she initially hesitated to speak publicly because she worried their children would face criticism on social media.

She added that her priority is protecting her children amid alleged threats.

Alfred stressed that bullying can happen to anyone regardless of status and encouraged victims not to stay silent.

“Mag salita sila. At yung parents, please please ipaglaban niyo anak niyo,” Yasmine said during the interview.

Alfred also reminded parents that they are not alone in facing these situations.

Marami tayo and it’s time to speak up,” Alfred stated.
He added, “Meron larong bata, totoo pero meron hindi na larong bata and obligasyon natin lahat. Whether yung anak natin yung binully o yung anak natin yung bully.
