Sarah Geronimo expressed pride and admiration for BINI after the group received the Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music 2026 held in Los Angeles.

In a statement, Geronimo reflected on her own experience receiving the same recognition the previous year and emphasized the significance of the award for Filipino artists.
“Receiving the Billboard Women in Music Global Force Award is such a meaningful achievement,” she said.
She described the honor as a symbol of courage and hope for artists striving to break barriers and bring Filipino music to a global audience.

The singer also commended BINI for their dedication and impact on the international stage.
“Through your passion and dedication, you continue to elevate the Philippine music industry by showing the world the immense talent and heart of Filipino artists,” she added.
She concluded her message by encouraging the group to continue pushing boundaries and representing the country with pride.
BINI accepted the award during the ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium on April 29, expressing gratitude for the recognition.
“Thank you Billboard for this Global Force Award,” said member Colet.
She noted that the moment was once only a dream for the group and emphasized the responsibility that comes with representing Filipino music globally.
The group also dedicated the award to their supporters and the broader OPM community.

She first rose to fame after winning Star for a Night in 2002 and went on to achieve massive success with albums like Popstar: A Dream Come True and films such as A Very Special Love. In 2024, she reached another milestone after becoming the first Filipina to receive the Global Force Award at Billboard Women in Music.
