The case, filed in 2024, involves charges brought by the Department of Justice against independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz. They were accused of r*pe through s*xual assault and acts of lasciviousness. In 2025, the Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 46 dismissed the lasciviousness charges, stating that these were already absorbed into the main s*xual assault case, which remains active.
Sandro also revealed that he has completed therapy sessions, which played a significant role in his recovery.
“Hindi na (ako nagte-therapy) now kasi na-reach ko na yung (required) meeting namin ng therapist ko,” he shared.
“Nakatulong nang malaki sa'kin kasi it made me realize na hindi lang hanggang doon yung buhay ko,” he added.
Sandro further emphasized how the process helped him regain perspective and strength.
With the support of his family, especially his father, Sandro said he is gradually finding himself again.
“I don't say na fully (ready), but more aware sa mga tao na nakasama ko,” he admitted.
Recently, he made his runway debut after auditioning for a fashion show, marking a new chapter in his career. As a freelance artist, Sandro now aims to work with different agencies and rebuild his path moving forward.

In another report, Vice Ganda openly expressed frustration toward parents who leave their children in the care of relatives. The topic arose during an “It’s Showtime” segment featuring 70-year-old Nanay NekNek, who shared her personal story. She revealed that she is currently raising her grandchildren after being abandoned by her own children. The comedian stressed that parents should take full responsibility for their kids instead of passing the burden on to others.
Meanwhile, Miguel Tanfelix shared in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that he is open to taking on more daring roles, depending on the value of the project. He explained that such scenes should serve a clear purpose and contribute to the story. However, the actor admitted he still has reservations about doing full frontal n*dity, questioning whether it is appropriate in the Philippine context. Miguel continues to grow his career through hosting work and upcoming television projects.
