She explained that their bond was formed over six years, spanning from when she was just 13 until she turned 19.

"Brutal kami sa isa’t isa, so inisip ko, hindi naman ‘yun pagmamahal kasi parang brutal kami na ano," she added.
Heart noted that the lines between their real emotions and their work as actors often blurred, leaving her confused about the true nature of their relationship at the time. Despite the tears and the "brutal" moments, she carries no bitterness and even played a surprising part in John’s future happiness.
The actress disclosed that she actually helped bridge the gap between John and his wife, Isabel Oli.
"Nag-uusap pa lang sila and nag-te-taping kami together ni Isabel Oli, and pini-pair ko sila," Heart revealed.
While both have moved on—John is happily married with three children and Heart is married to Senator Chiz Escudero—the nostalgia remains strong for their fans. Regarding a possible reunion with their "G-mik" castmates, Heart remained optimistic.
"Never ko talaga naisip ‘yon until sa dumating siguro ‘yung moment na nag-reconnect kami nila Angelica (Panganiban), nila John," she said.
