Mr. Yang, a driver who had previously taken the family to Nami Island, went out of his way to help them after Uber failed to respond to their messages
Without being asked, Mr. Yang drove an hour to the police station to check a lead and later tracked down the Uber driver himself to recover the bag
She described Mr. Yang as "heaven sent" and called the recovery of her bag the "best birthday gift ever"

What was supposed to be a joyful birthday celebration in South Korea quickly turned into a stressful ordeal for Andi Manzano and her family.

While rushing to get everyone settled into a stroller for a BTS pop-up event, the family realized too late that a bag containing their camera and all their vacation memories had been left inside their taxi.

After two days of panicking and receiving no help from the ride-sharing app, Andi reached out to a local driver they had met earlier named Mr. Yang. While she only hoped he could translate for them at the police station, Mr. Yang took matters into his own hands.

He drove for an hour just to check on a potential lead and, when that failed, he continued working with the authorities until he successfully tracked down the original driver.

"I was in tears. How can this man be so nice? He was heaven sent!" Andi shared in her emotional post.

She admitted that she had already made peace with losing the bag, but Mr. Yang’s determination brought it back to her just when she had given up hope.

"We had finally accepted the loss. We made our peace and decided to just enjoy the trip," she confessed.

For Andi, the return of her belongings was a powerful reminder of the kindness that exists in the world. While she is happy to have her camera back, she says it is the "selfless heart of a stranger" that she will remember most from the trip.

She even encouraged other travelers in Seoul to book Mr. Yang, calling his help the ultimate birthday blessing.
