Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is once again trending, but this time it’s not just for his public service but for his hilarious video editing skills. Over the holiday, the Mayor posted a virtual tour of the newest health center in Barangay San Jose, which was inaugurated on March 3, 2026.

The building, which sat mostly unused since 2013, underwent a major ₱8.7 million renovation. Sotto explained that the project included air-con units, CCTV, and even minor improvements to the neighboring daycare, emphasizing that the focus now is providing better services to the community.

However, the serious news was quickly overshadowed by the video's creative transitions. The fast-paced cuts made it look like the Mayor was teleporting from room to room, complete with a glowing light effect at the end.

Netizens couldn't help but poke fun at the style. One user commented, "Mayor, medyo nakakahilo. Parang ako na unang gagamit ng health center," to which Vico replied, "Baka mababa lang blood sugar mo ma'am. Please take care of yourself and eat on time."

When another follower asked how he pulled off the special effects, Sotto jokingly asked about a Marvel film.

"Napanood mo na Dr Strange?" he jokingly said. For those complaining that the tour was moving too fast, he simply suggested they download the video and watch it at "0.5x speed".

While the editing may have left some viewers reaching for a glass of water, the message was clear: Pasig residents now have a modern, 380-square-meter facility ready to serve them.

Vico Sotto is a Filipino politician serving as the mayor of Pasig. He joined the Aksyon Demokratiko party and was elected mayor of Pasig in 2019 and was re-elected in 2022. He was re-elected for his third consecutive term at the 2025 elections. His parents are actor-comedian-host Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes, with both of them supporting their son in his political endeavors.

However, all of a sudden, the old lady mentioned the name 'Aga' which caught Vico's attention. Eventually, the Mayor let out a hilarious but honest response to the old lady afterward.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Vico Sotto strongly condemned former mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya following her arrest by the NBI on December 18, 2025. The arrest stems from multiple charges including graft and malversation of public funds linked to alleged ghost flood control projects worth billions of pesos. Sotto debunked the couple's "victim narrative" by citing AMLC findings that allegedly show more than PHP 180 billion flowing into their accounts as well.
