MANILA — The camp of Coco Martin has clarified that the actor is not endorsing any form of g*mbling, following the circulation of online posts linking him to such promotions. The statement was released Wednesday night by CCM Film Productions through social media.

The production company emphasized that materials using Martin’s name, image, or identity to promote g*mbling platforms are unauthorized.

“Nais naming linawin na si Coco Martin ay hindi konektado, nag-eendorso, o nagpo-promote ng anumang uri ng sugal o online g*mbling platforms,” the statement read.

CCM Film Productions also warned the public against interacting with suspicious advertisements. The group described the circulating promotions as deceptive and reminded fans to verify information through official sources.

“Ang anumang patalastas, social media posts, o materyales na kumakalat online na gumagamit ng kanyang pangalan, larawan, o pagkakakilanlan kaugnay ng ganitong aktibidad ay hindi awtorisado at mapanlinlang,” the announcement added.

The clarification came as authorities continued to monitor alleged promotions tied to illegal online g*mbling. The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center previously said some celebrities and influencers were being examined over possible involvement in such activities.

Martin, who currently stars in FPJ's Batang Quiapo, remains focused on upcoming projects. He is also preparing for a new series titled Sigabo alongside longtime partner Julia Montes.

Meanwhile, CCM Film Productions urged the public to stay vigilant and to consult only verified accounts for legitimate endorsements. The company also thanked supporters for their continued trust and cooperation in helping prevent the spread of misleading content.
