The comedian shared a video of his visit on social media, capturing the nostalgia and significance of the space that launched his career.

“Buong puso akong nagpapasalamat siyempre sa ABS-CBN, sa PBB siyempre, Direk Lauren (Dyogi). Ang laki ng utang na loob ko sa kanila,” Gainza said.

He also mentioned his fellow housemates from Season 1, including grand winner Nene Tamayo.

“At ito po masisilayan po natin muli ang ating Big Brother house. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa bumubuo ng PBB ng Big Brother house, direk Lauren (Dyogi), Tita LT (Linggit Tan) marami pong salamat sa inyo,” he added.

After leaving the PBB house in 2005, Gainza pursued a career in entertainment, becoming a well-known comedian, actor, and host. He is recognized for his humor and impersonations, particularly of King of Talk Boy Abunda.

Gainza also expressed hope for the future of the show.

“Sana po ay tuloy pa rin, lumipat kayo ng ibang venue pero tuloy pa rin po ang PBB. Ipinagdarasal ko po 'yon kasi marami po kayong natutulungan,” he shared.

Recently, ABS-CBN confirmed that the current PBB house will close as production moves to a new location. Direk Lauren Dyogi stated:

“For the coming season, it’s good to have a new feel naman for the new housemates. We’ve decided to move it and build a new PBB house, abangan nila kung saan 'yung new PBB house.”

As the old PBB house prepares to close its doors, Gainza’s visit serves as a heartfelt reminder of the memories, friendships, and milestones that began within its walls.
