Iya Villania is never one to shy away from showing the "real" side of her fitness journey. In her latest Instagram post, she celebrated a win but was quick to laugh at her own technique and her son's blunt reaction to it as well.

"Today I got a little greedy... putting this on the grid cause it's been awhile since I tried stringing BMUs. Got technique to fix but for some reason chicken winging it is the only way I can do these with confidence... for now. Bakit ganern?!"

The highlight of the post was definitely Primo’s take on his mom’s gym moves. While Iya was beaming with pride, Primo gave it to her straight—reminding her that even superhero moms find things difficult sometimes.

"Proud of my achievement I showed Primo. His thoughts? 'The first one was good but after that you looked like you were having a hard time,'" Iya shared.

The athletic mom couldn't help but laugh at the comment, jokingly responding to the "hard time" her son noticed. For Iya, the struggle is part of the fun, and she remains determined to master the move.

"Me (in my head): Coz these are hard, bruh!!! Thanks ah!" she jokingly shared.

Iya Villania is a Filipina TV host, actress, singer, and model. She began her television career in 2003 on the interactive program Game Channel. After this, she appeared in GMA Network’s daytime shows Walang Hanggan and Click. In 2004, she moved to ABS-CBN, where she became a VJ for MYX and appeared in programs such as ASAP and Wowowee. In 2014, Iya returned to GMA Network. In her personal life, she is married to Drew Arellano, and they have five children: Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.
