Rising boxer Eman Bacosa Pacquiao is setting his sights on becoming a world champion while carving out his own identity in the sport.

During a media interview on Thursday, Eman shared that his long-term goal goes beyond titles, as he hopes to inspire young Filipinos through his journey.
"Siyempre to become a world champion, to become a great boxer na ina-admire ng mga kabataan. From no one to someone, parang ganon," he said.
Despite entering the world of endorsements and taking on his first acting project, Eman made it clear that boxing remains his top priority.

"My priority right now is professional boxing. Mga ganito ganyan sa showbiz, 'yung sa show business ay kapag wala pa akong laban," he explained.
Eman also entered endorsements through IAM Worldwide, where he worked with Piolo Pascual and admitted feeling nervous in showbiz settings.
"Sinasabi ko sa kanya (kay Piolo) kinakabahan ako sa ganito-ganyan, kasi hindi talaga ako sanay sa mga ganitong bagay. Ina-advice-an niya ako na huwag ako kabahan at i-enjoy ko lang ang mga moment na ganito," he shared.
He said Pascual reminded him to stay grateful and enjoy the experience.
"Sabi niya (when it comes to showbiz) be thankful and enjoy lang," Eman added.
Despite this, Eman emphasized that his focus remains on boxing and his family.
"Right now, naka-focus lang ako sa boxing ko at sa pamilya ko," he said.
As he continues his career, Eman remains determined to step out of his father’s shadow.
“They will know the difference because Manny Pacquiao is Manny Pacquiao. Eman Bacosa Pacquiao is Eman Bacosa Pacquiao,” he said.
