In a candid interview with Aster Amoyo on her YouTube channel, Jeric Raval finally shared the hilarious and honest story of how he "outed" his daughter’s secret family. Jeric confessed that a simple "slip of the tongue" led to the public finding out that AJ Raval and Aljur Abrenica already have children together.

The veteran actor recalled being at a press conference where he was casually eating and chatting with someone he thought was part of their team.
"May tao sa harap ko, 'O, Jeric, kamusta na?' 'Okay naman, okay naman.' Akala ko kasi kasama namin. 'Eh sila AJ, kamusta?' 'Okay naman din, ang laki na nga nung mga anak eh,'" Jeric recounted.
It was only when the press conference started that he realized his mistake as the person he was talking to earlier was now holding the microphone.

"Siya yung may hawak nung mic, nagtatanong sa akin. Sabi ko talaga, 'Ang daldal ko talaga, ba't ko ba nasabi,'" he shared.
Despite the accidental reveal, Jeric feels it was a good thing because AJ had been struggling with the pressure of keeping her children a secret.
"Kasi biruin mo, tuwing lalabas yung anak ko, kailangan itago kawawa naman. Tsaka iba na kasi ngayon, hindi mo na talaga maitatago dahil ang daming may cellphone eh," Jeric explained.
When asked if AJ got mad at him, Jeric revealed that the latter didn't get mad. Similar to what she said in November of 2025, AJ considered what happened to be a "blessing in disguise."
He called her immediately to apologize for his talkativeness. "Sabi ko, 'Anak may kasalanan ako. Sa daldal ko, nabanggit ko.' Actually nadulas lang ako kasi yung kaharap ko ang casual eh," he told Aster.
