The moment happened during the “It’s Giving” round of the show’s “Laro Laro Pick” segment aired on Thursday, March 12.

In the game, contestants were asked to identify various images flashed on the screen. According to the hosts, the photos represented objects, landmarks, and cultural elements connected to the Philippines.

Several participants were already eliminated after failing to recognize images such as arnis, Mayon Volcano, the traditional game luksong tinik, and San Juanico Bridge.

When the image of Malacañang Palace appeared, the contestant struggled to identify it. This prompted Vice Ganda to give a clue.

“Hindi mo nakikita ‘yang larawan na ‘yan? D’yan namamalagi ang pangulo. San namamalagi ang pangulo?” says Vice Ganda.

Instead of naming the palace, the contestant guessed incorrectly.

“Ay, ano. Munispyo?” says the contestant.

The unexpected response caused laughter among the studio audience. However, Vice Ganda appeared concerned and continued guiding the contestant toward the correct answer.

Host Jhong Hilario tried to help by giving a hint. “Mala—” says Jhong Hilario.

Despite the clue, the contestant still failed to identify the landmark.

“Malabon?” says the contestant.

Vice Ganda then responded with a mix of humor and disappointment while reminding viewers about awareness of national landmarks.

“Natatawa ka pa ha,” says Vice Ganda.
“‘Yan ay Malacañang. Malacañang ‘yan ha. ‘Wag puro blush on tsaka highlighter sa TikTok ha?” says Vice Ganda.
