The discussion began in the show’s “Laro Laro Pick” game arena when Vice introduced contestant Ronna, a hardworking mother trying different side hustles to support her children.

Her story prompted the comedian-host to think about the growing financial pressures faced by many households.

“Sa mga ibinabalitang oil price hike na malaki ang posibilidad na makaapekto rin sa presyo ng iba pang bilihin,” Vice says, noting how rising fuel costs could lead to higher prices for basic goods.

The host then questioned whether the current minimum wage remains enough for families trying to make ends meet.

Aside from economic concerns, another moment during the show highlighted what Vice described as a worrying sign of the country’s learning crisis.

The hosts were taken aback during the “It’s Giving” round, where players were asked to identify images representing the Philippines and its culture.

One contestant, Rein, struggled to recognize the image of Malacañang Palace despite several clues from the hosts.

“Saan namamalagi ang pangulo?” Vice asks while trying to guide the player toward the answer.

Rein initially responded “Munisipyo” before guessing another location after additional hints from co-host Jhong Hilario.

The moment left Vice briefly stunned before he clarified the correct answer.

Later, the comedian added a lighthearted remark while addressing the situation.

“Huwag puro blush at highlighter sa TikTok, ha?” Vice says, jokingly reminding viewers to balance entertainment and learning.
