Comedian and columnist Ogie Diaz called out Quezon City Rep. Bong Suntay after the lawmaker’s remarks about actress Anne Curtis drew widespread criticism during a House justice committee hearing on impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.

“Alam niyo minsan nasa Shangri-La ako, nakita ko si Anne Curtis. Ang ganda-ganda pala niya. You know, may desire sa loob ko na nag-init talaga, at na-imagine ko na lang kung ano ang pwedeng mangyari. Pero siyempre hanggang imagination lang 'yun,” Suntay had said.

Diaz shared his reaction to the controversial statement on Facebook by reposting a story from Inquirer. In his caption, he wrote:

“Yung cong namin sa 4th district ng QC, sino kaya idol niya? Ba’t ganyan siya mag-imagine? Pang-inuman lang yung nai-imagine mo, hindi pang-lower house. Dapat magigiting kayo diyan. Puro facts. Hindi puro imagination.”
