Actor-turned-Tarlac 2nd District board member Arron Villaflor confronted rumors and alleged scandals during a February 27 interview, describing the situation as part of ongoing “smear campaigns.”

“OK ’yan, nakakatulong sa akin. Alam mo sa panahon ngayon, you can’t dictate what you want to a person. Ako, I really believe nobody else would help you but yourself,” Villaflor said in an interview held ahead of the press conference for the action-drama "Pater Noster."

He elaborated on the political nature of such claims.

“Ay naku, napakadami po [ng smear campaign]. It’s part of the political industry, so depende sa iyo on how you're gonna react.”

Addressing allegations of explicit video involvement, Villaflor firmly denied any wrongdoing.

“‘Sabi, 'Arron, meron ka daw scandal.’ Sabi ko, pakita niyo sa akin. Lahat ng pinapakita nila came from VMX projects,” he explained.

He stressed that many of the circulating clips were from his past professional work rather than any personal misconduct.

Following the interview, alleged videos involving Villaflor and two women have appeared online, though he has not released further statements regarding the content.

Looking ahead, Villaflor clarified that he will avoid raunchy projects in his acting career.

“No more sexy roles, galing na tayo diyan. I’ve been doing those things for almost two years, three years… Hindi na siya tulad nang dati. It’s not easy compared before. Right now, I have to choose my work,” he stressed.

Despite the controversies, the board member remains focused on balancing his political responsibilities with his acting ambitions, emphasizing personal accountability and careful career choice.
