Actress and mental health advocate Maxene Magalona has provided an update on her current situation in Dubai, where she is currently "stranded" alongside her partner, Geoff Gonzalez. In a detailed Instagram post, Maxene shared that their travel plans were halted due to high alerts and significant disruptions following drone and missile attacks launched across the region.

"As of today, Dubai is navigating a period of high alert... All flights have been cancelled as the airport has been closed indefinitely until further notice," Maxene explained to her followers.
Despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Maxene maintained a calm and spiritual perspective, describing her situation as being "divinely placed" rather than just stranded.
She praised the UAE government for its defense capabilities, noting that they were able to intercept more than a hundred attacks during her stay.

"I just have to say, in the 6 days that I’ve been here, I’ve been feeling so safe and peaceful despite the ongoing war," she wrote.
Maxene also expressed her gratitude for the presence of Geoff Gonzalez, who has been taking good care of her throughout the ordeal. Reflecting on a previous experience of being stranded alone in Bali in 2020, she noted how blessed she feels to have someone by her side this time to protect her peace.
"Now, I feel so blessed to be here with @outofscratch who takes such good care of me and protects my peace at all costs," she wrote.
She concluded her post by sending healing energy to fellow Filipinos in Dubai and the Philippines, urging them not to focus on fear.
