Former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles has taken a major step toward finalizing her civil status in the Philippines. In an official statement shared via her Instagram story, Priscilla revealed that she filed a "Petition for Recognition of Foreign Divorce" before the Regional Trial Court of Quezon City on February 27, 2026.

The document explains that Priscilla’s application for divorce was already granted nearly a year ago, on March 31, 2025, by the First Family Court in Boa Vista, Brazil. By filing this new petition, she seeks to have that Brazilian ruling recognized and enforced under Philippine law.

Sharing her relief with her followers, Priscilla thanked her dedicated team of lawyers at Calleja Law for their help.
