Speaking candidly on the Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast, Barbie admitted she has personally experienced being emotionally invested in someone who was uncertain about her.

Oo naman,” she disclosed during the interview.

Barbie described situationships as blurred connections that may appear romantic but lack firm direction. According to her, these arrangements can quietly reveal hesitation from one side.

Now approaching her thirties, Barbie shared that she has developed a more straightforward outlook when it comes to love. She explained that for her, recognizing interest is rarely complicated.

She added that certainty, at least on her end, is clear and intentional.

“So in a way, alam ko.

Barbie went on to caution against staying too long in ambiguous setups, saying they may create confusion rather than genuine progress.

So iwasan mo 'yan. 'Yung mga 'pag feeling niyo, nagho-holding hands kayo tapos parang tratuhan niyo friends, parang medyo mali, di ba?”

However, she acknowledged that such experiences may not always be avoidable at the start.

Her remarks reflect a growing conversation among public figures about emotional clarity and maturity in modern relationships. For Barbie, certainty is not too much to ask — it is the foundation of something real.
