During a press briefing in Bonifacio Global City, Valenciano introduced Unshaken: Stories of Grit and Grace, a new podcast produced in partnership with Mammoth Media, the regional partner of iHeartRadio. The show is part of Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management’s 40th anniversary celebration and is set to debut in mid-April.
Valenciano shared that he plans to interview well-known personalities with whom he has a personal relationship. When asked about inviting politicians, he admitted being cautious.
“I’m careful about politics. That’s why I only chose si Sen. Kiko (Pangilinan), my brother-in-law,” Valenciano told ABS-CBN News.

He added, “If I ever have to go that route, I will have to create chances for both sides — those on the left and right.”
The veteran performer emphasized that if he features political figures, he hopes to focus on their humanity rather than their public personas.
“Politics, I think, is perhaps one of the most challenging and hurting jobs to have. Because at one time, I can be your friend, and if things begin to change, I can turn against you and you can turn against me,” he expressed.
Among those he hopes to interview is boxing legend and former senator Manny Pacquiao.
“If there’s anybody else that I’d like to talk to it would be Manny Pacquiao. But I will not talk about politics,” Valenciano said.
The podcast will be available on iHeart’s YouTube channel, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
