"Ako po si Vice Governor Alex Castro at binabati ko rin ang aking maybahay, si Sunshine Garcia-Castro, palakpakan po natin, salamat po sa suporta," Castro said during his speech. However, he then paused and added with a grin, "Paki-kamusta lang ako kay Alvin Aragon."

The mention of Aragon’s name was a clear reference to a previous social media stir. Aragon had earlier made headlines for criticizing Castro, questioning why the Vice Governor allowed his wife to perform and dance in front of many people during the SexBomb Reunion Concert.

The SexBomb Girls are a popular Filipino dance and performance group. They were formed as a dance group on the noontime show Eat Bulaga!, where they became part of the segment “Laban o Bawi.” The group is known for their energetic and daring dance performances, as well as their catchy songs such as Spaghetti, Get Get Aww, and Bakit Papa. Because of their unique style and strong stage presence, they quickly became a household name and one of the most popular girl groups in the Philippines during their peak. Aside from dancing, the SexBomb Girls also ventured into music, film, and television. Some members, such as Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Sunshine Garcia, and others, went on to have their own careers in acting and hosting after their time with the group.

As previously reported by KAMI, Sugar Mercado released a statement regarding the comments made by Alvin Aragon, husband of Izzy Trazona. In her video, Sugar said that Alvin’s emotions may be simply getting the best of him due to the heavy "bashing" his wife has been receiving. She defended the group’s comeback — which she now calls "Super Blessed" — viewing it as a way to give thanks for their two decades of hard work. The former dancer pleaded with the public to offer prayers instead of judgment on social media.

Meanwhile, Sofia Trazona confirmed she continues to respect Alvin Aragon out of honor for his marriage to her mother, Izzy Trazona. However, the internet personality also expressed deep hurt over recent public remarks, noting they have made a close relationship nearly impossible. Sofia emphasized that she finds strength in her own faith, believing she is only accountable to a higher power for her life choices.
