Ellen Adarna clarified a few details about the P20,000 a month worth of child support from John Lloyd Cruz for their son, Elias. During an Instagram Q&A, she addressed followers who wondered why she used to say she only asked for P20,000 from the actor.

The actress pointed out that her living situation in Cebu made a big difference because everything was almost paid for already.

"Because Elias was only a toddler at the time and he wasn't schooling and I was in Cebu. When I'm in Cebu, everything is taken care of—my house, bills, driver, yayas... it's all paid for by the company," she said. Because of this setup, she noted that "my only gastos when I was in Cebu was only my groceries."

However, at one point, she mentioned that "it was John Lloyd who insisted, he doubled the amount."

Despite the public's comments, Ellen has nothing but good things to say about John Lloyd as a father.

"In fairness talaga kay JL, wala akong masabi. Hindi na kailangan pagsabihan," she shared. She also mentioned that he is very proactive, offering his help or whatever else the child might need.

According to Ellen, when John Lloyd found out they were moving out of the house, he quickly contacted her.

"Chika lang, so when he found out that we moved houses, kasi si Elias na anak niya ay kasama, you know what? He offered, dai. 'Len, kung ano man kailangan niyo, just let me know, baka makatulong kami,' kaya ayun, nagkukusa. Iba talaga ang taong ganyan," she revealed.
