Host Boy Abunda asked Christian Bautista where he was in Mark’s life when the latter publicly shared his truth. The balladeer said he learned about it through the news.
“I read it in the paper, and I said, ‘Hey, I’m your friend no matter what and I’m here for you,’” Christian recalled.

For Mark, that simple message meant a lot. The Kapamilya star shared that when situations become uncomfortable, some people choose to step back or slowly drift away. In his case, however, Christian did the opposite.
The singer explained that what he appreciates most about his longtime friend is that he did not distance himself. Instead, he stayed present and consistent. Support, according to Mark, was always there.
