Even with her ongoing battle against multiple autoimmune diseases, Kris kept her signature wit.

"I ended up in bed because my migraine said, 'Why wasn't I invited? Well, I'm gatecrashing,'" she wrote onto her now-viral Instagram post.

However, amid the video of the heartwarming celebration, Kris shared a quick update about her health as well, saying this coming Sunday will be a "difficult journey" for her.

"This Sunday, I begin a difficult journey because if I did nothing, it would be my brain or my heart, that would be in trouble," the 'Queen of All Media' told her followers.

Despite this update, Kris shared she remains hopeful and now has an even "better goal" of reaching the age of 68 instead of 60. By the end of her post, she also thanked everyone for their prayers and good wishes.

Kris Aquino is one of the most recognizable figures in Philippine media, having built a long career as a television host, actress, and producer while belonging to a prominent political family. She is the youngest child of the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon Aquino, and the sister of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. Known for her candid personality and strong on-screen presence, she earned the nickname “Queen of All Media” after leading numerous talk shows, game shows, and films. She expressed gratitude for turning 55 despite ongoing battles with autoimmune diseases and recent medical procedures. Aquino shared progress in her recovery, including walking unaided after weeks of hospitalization. She also spoke about supporting her son’s career while choosing to remain a hands-on mother instead of a manager.

Meanwhile, Kris Aquino expressed deep gratitude to her former boyfriend Dr Mike Padlan for helping save her life during a critical health scare, saying he arranged her hospital confinement when she needed it most. She shared that although their romantic relationship ended, their bond as doctor and patient remained strong and built on trust and understanding. Kris credited him for knowing her medical history intimately and for connecting her with the right specialists.
