On Saturday, February 7, the Kapuso star shared a video of Ayesha delivering a confident speech during the Open House of her new school, De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ). For Yasmien, seeing her daughter stand on stage was more than just a school event—it was a testament to her recovery.

During the event, Ayesha was selected as one of the new students to share their experiences. She described the institution as her “space of growth, guidance, and home.” The sight of Ayesha speaking eloquently moved Yasmien to post a heartfelt caption: “GRABE Ayesha! Wala kaming masabi.” She further added, Watching you stand there so brave and confident is the best gift our hearts could ever receive as your parents. And seeing how you overcame everything with Gods guidance within you means more to us than words can say.”

Yasmien also expressed her gratitude that Ayesha is now in a safe place” where she feels protected and supported. Always proud of you, our forever baby girl! Napaiyak mo nanaman akoWe love you. Mama and Papa will always protect you!” she wrote.

This newfound confidence comes after a dark chapter in Ayesha’s education. In December 2024, Yasmien revealed that Ayesha had been a victim of severe bullying at her former school. The actress had shared photos of her daughter’s belongings being tampered with and detailed how a group of students had "ganged up" on the young girl. By February 2025, Yasmien made the difficult decision to move Ayesha to a homeschooling program to provide her with a more nurturing environment while she underwent therapy.
