In her post, Mariel shared a screenshot of a Facebook Live video conference where the two senators were seen deep in discussion. Mariel couldn’t help but flex the duo, captioning her post with: “Despite all the noise, my two favorite senators are working hard. Robin Padilla Camille Villar.”

The meeting was part of the proceedings for the Senate Committee on Cultural Communities and Muslim Affairs, which Sen. Robin chairs. While most viewers see the glitz of the Senate floor, this session was about a serious grassroots issue. Sen. Robin explained that they were discussing the filing of eviction and demolition cases against residents in Balabac, Palawan, specifically targeting the ancestral lands of the Molbog Indigenous People.

What made the scene more interesting was the setting. While Sen. Camille was joined via video conference, Sen. Robin was actually on the ground, broadcasting live from Maria Hangin Island in Palawan. This hands-on approach is something Robin has been known for since transitioning from "Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema" to a top-ranking senator in 2022.
