In the episode, the former teen idol sat down with Aiko Melendez for what they called Part 2, after viewers kept asking for a follow-up.
From the start, the two made it clear they wanted the conversation to feel more direct this time. They even joked about skipping the usual drinking setup so they could share the story with a clearer head.
Instead of focusing on one moment only, the vlog walked viewers through their bigger timeline.

They said they have known each other for 29 years, and it started as a friendship within a barkada. Aiko recalled how they used to go out in a group, and at the time, she didn’t even realize what Onemig was really feeling.
She also shared that a friend, Kenny, often ended up being the “spokesperson” who would hint about One’s feelings.
The actor then explained how their early connection had a lot of near-moments and missed chances.
They talked about nights out, the awkwardness of not saying what they truly felt, and how both of them were also dealing with past heartbreak at different points.
They also revisited the incident fans kept bringing up, including the Subic plan that turned into a turning point for their communication.
But in the vlog, it wasn’t treated as the whole story. It was framed as one piece of a longer pattern: feelings that were there, but timing and hesitation kept getting in the way.
A big part of the episode focused on how they eventually reconnected years later. They stressed that when they began talking again, both were already separated from their previous partners, and they clarified that there was no overlap or third party.
They described how the reconnecting stage was slow, consistent, and surprisingly comfortable.
They talked for hours, often daily, even before meeting again in person. They said they’re now enjoying the process of “catching up” and staying grounded, which is also why they avoid rushing to label what they have.
