Marydale Entrata, widely known as Maymay Entrata, is a well-loved Filipina actress, singer, television host, and model. The Kapamilya star was born on May 6, 1997, in Camiguin and spent much of her childhood in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. She was previously part of a popular love team with actor Edward Barber and is currently in a relationship with a Canadian named Aaron.

In response, Maymay firmly denied the accusation, explaining that her performance was done without auto-tune. She also pointed out that there were moments when her notes were slightly flat, which she said would not have been the case if audio enhancement had been used. Following her clarification, the account behind the post issued an apology and acknowledged that the claim against the singer was inaccurate.

The controversy stemmed from Maymay’s guest appearance on “It’s Showtime” as one of the “Tago Kanta” participants in the “Hide and Sing” segment. Her performance quickly went viral online, drawing widespread attention from viewers and netizens.
