Ruffa Gutierrez took to Instagram to share a much-needed positive update about her father, Eddie Gutierrez’s health, after several days of treatment in Singapore.
The actress posted photos taken during their hospital stay, including moments with her dad and a family shot with her mother, Anabelle Rama.

In her message, Ruffa revealed that it was already their eighth day in Singapore and that they finally received encouraging news from Eddie’s medical team.
According to the actress, doctors confirmed that her father’s spine infection has greatly improved. She shared that his nerves are no longer as compressed and that he has started eating again, which gave the family a great sense of relief.

"Day 8 in Singapore, and we have good news! Everything involving Dad’s spine infection has greatly improved, according to Dr. Prem Pillay of the Neuro Spine & Pain Center at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Dad’s nerves are no longer as compressed, kumakain na ulit si Daddy, and most importantly, we are hopeful that he will be able to walk again soon," she wrote.
The actress did not hide how emotionally challenging the past days had been. She described the experience as a mix of sleepless nights, tears, and constant anxiety.
At the same time, she emphasized that the situation was also filled with love and support from family, friends, and people who continued to check on them.
"One more visit with his urologist, and we’re finally heading home to Manila. Yayyyy! We are so thankful for Dad’s ongoing recovery and for every single prayer said on his behalf. So many sleepless nights, so many tears…but also so much love. To everyone who checked in, stayed with us in prayer, and showed genuine concern for Dad, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all so much. If you’re feeling down right now, hold on to your faith. Prayers work, and miracles happen every day," she added.
