At one point, Boy Abunda asked her directly, “Natatakot ka malaos?” to which Kris responded with a straightforward “yes,” making it clear that staying visible is a conscious choice driven by her desire not to be forgotten by her fans.

“Ayoko talagang mawala. Kaya nga kahit nu'ng nanganak ako, kahit nu'ng nabuntis ako, nanganak ako, tina-try ko pa rin maging active kung kaya,” she added, emphasizing that her efforts to remain active extended even during significant milestones like pregnancy and childbirth.

The actress also reflected on how her career trajectory has evolved over the years. She noted that some of her recent shows did not perform as strongly in ratings, and her roles transitioned from leading lady to antagonist.

Kris candidly admitted she isn’t entirely sure why this shift happened, but suggested her slimmer appearance may have influenced casting decisions.
