In the interview, the actor shared that while he owned a house, there was a time when he had no money left in the bank.

Expenses continued to pile up, and he admitted that poor money management played a role in his situation. Mark explained that after losing the relatives who used to help him manage his finances, he struggled to adjust and found himself spending without proper planning.

When asked if he ever reached the point of borrowing money, Mark answered honestly and confirmed that he did. Without hesitation, he mentioned Alden as one of the people who helped him during that period. According to Mark, Alden did not hesitate and showed nothing but kindness, saying he truly has a big heart.

He added that the help he received allowed him to get by and survive during that difficult time.

The Kapuso star also addressed the criticisms he received online after being seen dancing at a bar, which some netizens interpreted as a sign that his career was over. Mark clarified that his intention was never about image but about providing for his family. He said he has always seen himself as a provider, and he is willing to do whatever work is available as long as it allows him to support his wife and children.

During the conversation, Mark reflected on how becoming a father changed his mindset. He explained that responsibility took on a deeper meaning once he had children, and that he could no longer afford to wait for acting projects the way he used to.
